Intel Labs, Communications and Interconnect Technology, is looking for an individual to perform research and performance analysis in the area of signal processing algorithms for physical layer implementation of wireless communication protocols and in the radio waves propagation and interference study for spectrum regulatory issues.
The position requires a technically educated, highly motivated, and creative individual with an extensive signal processing and communication algorithms and standards (PHY and MAC layers) background. Qualifications include hands-on experience with the simulation of PHY and/or MAC communication algorithms in MatLab or C-language models (floating- and fixed-point).
Candidate should have knowledge in PHY/MAC layer processing for one or more of IEEE802.11x/.15x/.16x standards; radio wave propagation in VHF range, antenna theory.
